About Me

Caroline 2.jpeg

I’m Caroline and I live in Buckinghamshire with my husband and our two small children. After 18 years working within major publishing houses, I’m now a freelance editor and I love completely focusing on the books in front of me. My day is now deliciously free of meetings and instead full of words. I’ve recently freelanced for two major publishing imprints and also take on individual projects directly from authors.

Commercial fiction is my passion: novels you read on your holiday, on your commute, over the Christmas break. The books you reach for any time that you want to escape, unwind and be entertained. I don’t believe in guilty pleasures when it comes to books – there’s no shame in reading what you love. I happen to love women’s fiction, book club books and historical fiction.

Outside of my professional passions, I am a fanatical sewist and knitter, I know all the words to the Hamilton soundtrack and am very skilled with an IKEA flatpack.
